Editorial Standards
The principles that guide what we publish and how we correct it.
Industry Spotlight is an independent editorial publication. We profile professionals and organizations doing substantive work in their fields, and we cover the ideas and decisions behind that work. Our aim is simple: accurate, useful, well-sourced writing that respects both our subjects and our readers.
Sourcing and accuracy
Every profile and feature is built from verifiable material: primary documents, on-the-record interviews, published work, and public records. When we describe a person's credentials, roles, or accomplishments, those details are drawn from sources we can point to. We do not fabricate quotes, invent affiliations, or embellish records.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made by our newsroom. Coverage is not for sale, and inclusion in a feature is never contingent on a commercial relationship. Where any sponsored or partner content appears, it is labeled clearly and separated from editorial work.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly and transparently. If you believe something we published is inaccurate, email corrections@industryspotlight.net with the specific detail and any supporting evidence. Substantive corrections are noted on the article itself.
Bylines and expertise
Our writers cover defined beats and bring relevant background to them. Each article carries a byline linking to the writer's profile, credentials, and full body of work, so readers can weigh who is telling the story.
Updates
Fields change and so do the people we cover. We update profiles when roles, titles, or facts change, and we date material so readers know how current it is.
